The feature that makes me such an effective hunter of the Muppets is, as opposed to most Fox anchorman, I can think like a Muppet, where they can only think like someone from Fox … more precisely, somene from Fox News. Now, if one were to determine what attribute the Fox News people share with a beast, it would be the cunning and the predatory instinct of a hawk. But if one were to determine what attributes the Muppets share with a beast, it would be that of the rat.
Das ist doch mal aus Disneysicht eine aufregende Woche: Erst kauft Disney Lucasfilm, nun wird ganz beiläufig der neue Muppet-Film von "ich bin darauf neugierig" zu "her damit, sofort!" befördert. Wie The Hollywoood Reporter berichtet, befindet sich Oscar-Preisträger Christoph Waltz derzeit in Verhandlungen für eine tragende Rolle im noch neu zu betitelten Kinofilm The Muppets 2. Waltz soll einen Inspektor von Interpol verkörpern, der in einen kuriosen Kriminalfall verwickelt wird. Neben Waltz' Rolle werden auch eine russische Diebin und eine äußerst zweifelhafte männliche Hauptrolle den Muppet-Cast verstärken. Und natürlich stehen zahllose Cameos zu erwarten.
James Bobin, Regisseur des von Kritikern freudig empfangenen Die Muppets, wird erneut inszenieren, Jason Segel gönnt sich eine Muppet-Pause.
